The Harrison Stringfellow team along with BB Heritage Studio embarked Northwards on a site visit to an architectural gem hidden deep in the English countryside.
Rumours and hearsay surround the origins of this building. Despite evidence of 14th Century construction, the structure is not original to the site and may in fact been relocated from the South East of England almost 250 years ago.
HSA have been appointed to breathe new life into this Grade II* Listed, Scheduled Ancient Monument and surrounding outbuildings. The aim is to secure a sustainable and financially viable future for the site known locally as a place of rural enterprise and celebration, hopefully enabling it to be enjoyed for many more generations to come.
The scheme is currently at pre-application stage and discussions with Historic England are ongoing. We are looking forward to providing more updates on progress in the coming months.
