What's On

At the beginning of March, Su attended a Power Up meeting at Squash. This is organised by Power to Change to enable community businesses to share ideas and knowledge. The social economy is a growing market and we are knowledgable in these areas.

March also marks us going into our 10th year of practice. To celebrate, for this month we will be donating £20 to Whitechapel for every new residential project. So if you have been wanting to make a change to your home – now is the time! Contact us to book a free 30 minute appointment.

Meanwhile, our Part 2 assistant and many other Part 2s in the North West are sitting their Part 3 examinations on the 6th and the 7th. The RIBA Part 3 examination takes place twice a year, in Spring and Autumn. Individuals are only permitted to register for the examination once they have attended the RIBA Part 3 course. Passing the examination will enable participants to be registered as architects.

This Thursday, the 7th, Sarah will be taking part in an all female alumni panel : Decades of LSA Women Alumni at the Liverpool School of Architecture. This panels aims to celebrate the achievements of female graduates of LSA, which is fitting when we have International Women’s Day on Friday the 8th of March. There are many exhibitions on this month at RIBA North at Mann Island. Some of these include the In Character exhibition which celebrates the work and collections of Sir John Soane, the RIBA Presidential Medal Exhibition which showcases the work of the country’s top architecture students, and the After Island exhibition which showcases the work of the Venice Biennale fellows. Su and Sarah have also been invited to critique third year students’ work at the Liverpool School of Architecture on the 14th of March.

Do not forget to turn your clocks forward at the end of the month! Summer, here we come!
